The Green Labs 4 VET project recently hosted a vibrant transnational meeting in Huesca, Spain. This initiative, supported by Erasmus+, focuses on imparting green skills and fostering sustainability in vocational education through practical, hands-on learning and collaborative innovation.
Two Days of Insight and Collaboration
Participants from the partner institutions came together to discuss the progress of the project’s work packages. The discussions were productive, covering essential topics such as the implementation of Green Labs in vocational training centres.
The event also featured a guided tour of one of host project partners CPIFP Pirámide, a renowned centre of excellence in sustainability and vocational training. The tour showcased the centre’s innovative facilities and their commitment to integrating green skills into education.
Industry Visit: Sustainability in Action
A highlight of the meeting was a visit to a local coffee production company, a partner of Pirámide. This visit illustrated how sustainable practices are integrated into real-world industries, providing a concrete example of green entrepreneurship and environmental responsibility.
The next transnational meeting is set to happen in May 2025.
